Malvern

Well. We've found it. The perfect cafe. It's a place called Malvern Buttery and let me tell ya...it. is. amazing. The pastries are ridiculously good and the coffee is outta this world. It feels like we're at a New Zealand cafe, which is saying a lot! Not to mention there is a little area for kids with books and toys. We love grabbing a few books and getting cozy on the couch with Max. We have gone there pretty much every weekend since we discovered it. Since I work all week, we always make it a point to go out together as a family on the weekends. Otherwise, life gets too busy and we forget to do the fun things! The weekends are a nice reminder of how special our time together is.

I don't think I'll ever get sick of wearing polka dots. Or stripes. I think those are my top two kinds of prints. And floral. Polka dots, stripes, and florals. Yep, I could wear a variation of those all day everyday forever. I found this particular top at the thrift store the other day and loved it. I paired it with the best high-waisted denim shorts that my sister gave me a few months back. She has discovered a gold mine of high-waisted shorts and silk shirts at her local thrift store; the perfect combination with her absolutely perfect Florida weather! So she's been sending me care packages with the best shorts and the dreamiest silk shirts. They're making me even more excited for spring and summer. 

Well life has been nice and busy lately. I've been working hard during this semester and looking forward to my spring break in a few weeks. Tim and I aren't planning a trip, but I'm looking forward to some quiet mornings of sleeping in and making breakfast together and going out  for coffee and dinner and movie dates. And we're getting things together for our summer in Philadelphia, too! We've been searching for a place to stay during the summer. I'm still in a state of shock that this whole Free People internship is happening. I can't wait for June so the fun and excitement can begin! It'll shake me out of this whole, "this is just a dream" state-of-mind. I can't wait for days in the studio and nights of exploring a new city. 

You Drove Me Wild

Tim and I went on a breakfast date this morning.
We ate bagels and drank iced coffee, even though it's still chilly outside.
I don't care. Iced coffee will always be my favorite.

Then we walked into the alley after breakfast and snapped some photos.
It's quite a lovely sunny day today. Hooray!

Oh, and my sister dyed my hair again.
It's quite fun to have all kinds of different reds as I dye, wash, and re-dye my hair.
It's like every week it's a different hue. Kind of fun.

Tim and I have both been working a lot lately so a coffee date this morning was quite wonderful.
We're planning on having a full date day tomorrow, which will be so fun!
I think we'll probably go out to dinner and see a movie. Jurassic Park in 3D, maybe?
Tim would officially love me forever. That man loves dinosaurs more than most ;)
