Twin Style : Philadelphia

My twin sister Kylie has been in town for the past week. It's been an amazing time of hanging out, getting coffee, thrifting, and laughing so much! She's been living in Tampa for the past year, so our time together has been extra precious lately. We snapped some style photos outside my apartment last night. I feel like the East Coast has a way of making us dress super comfy and casual. We've been doing a lot of walking and exploring, so being comfortable is obviously important on those long days of adventures ;) She's leaving today, so we're up early to go out to breakfast and spend as much time together as possible. Happy weekend!

Home Sweet Indiana

Kylie and I went out into the cornfield behind our parents' house for a little shoot.
We've lived in Indiana for about 11 years now, and there's something about green cornfields that just feels like home to me.
Kylie and I have spent countless hours running around, playing hide & seek, and even riding our bikes through this very cornfield.

She'll be leaving for New Zealand in August, so we plan on having as many photo shoots as possible before then!
We've never been an ocean apart from each other before, so I know it'll be a bit tough for the 2 months before I arrive in NZ too.

And the big news at the moment? Ky started a blog!!
It's called Midnight & Dawn (after our clothing line), and it's shapin' up to be a pretty fancy place.

Twin Style : All About the Jackets

My twin Kylie and I had another fun "Twin Style" shoot today!
We were able to go out to breakfast together this morning, which was so great.
Afterwards, we went out to a pretty willow tree near my place. The lighting was so lovely.
There are lots of photos (again!). It's just so fun to take photos together.
We tend to get a bit carried away ;)

We both found our jackets at the thrift store the other day.
Kylie has been searching for the perfect denim jacket for a while now. I would say she scored big with this gem!
And my jacket totally reminds me of a flight attendant's.
My Mom works for Southwest as a flight attendant, so I though I'd make her proud in this faux-stewardess-number.

Twin Style!

I thought it would be fun to take some photos while Kylie & I were at our parents' house this afternoon.
I asked Kylie if she'd be up for doing more posts like this in the future, and she agreed to it!
So expect more "Twin Style" posts in the future ;)

For this first session, we pretty much walked around our parents' garden.
It's so beautiful. My Dad spent one summer breaking stones that would surround the plants.
He is one amazing landscaper, let me tell ya! It's a trait of his we didn't know about until he built this garden!
And my Mom has always had quite the green thumb.
I remember countless trips to the plant nursery over the years...picking out pretty flowers and helping her plant them all.
They're both so talented and incredible.
So we took advantage of the beauty in their front yard!
