Celebrating Three Years!

Timothy and I celebrated our three year wedding anniversary on Wednesday!
We drove into Chicago and spent the afternoon walking around hand in hand.
We had a day full of perfect city weather, delicious gourmet Mexican food, fancy churros,
a cupcake ATM, and delicious coffee from a newly discovered cafe (Bow Truss).

There's nothing like spending a perfect day together.
It felt like a first date all over again.
We were just that boy and girl walking around our favorite city,
holding hands and chatting and taking photos and laughing at each others silly jokes.
I hope things never change.
I hope when we're 70 we'll still be walking around beautiful cities,
acting like nothing else matters in the world except the fact that we are together.

Here's to a lifetime of anniversaries together, darling!

A Perfect Little Day

Okay...okay. I'll admit that these photos are over a week old. I kind of forgot about them, to be honest!
I finished the last book in The Hunger Games series about a week ago.
I don't want to give anything away for those of you who are still reading it, but I'll just say I was pretty content with the way things ended.
It's definitely worth your time to finish the series ;)

And here are some photos from today for you.
Tim and I went out to our favorite ice cream spot this afternoon!
We rode our bikes into downtown Valparaiso and indulged in some local goodness.


Tim ordered a double-scoop cone with blueberry cheesecake and peach.
And I got a double-scoop with mint chocolate chip and birthday cake.
Although we did share in order to fully indulge in the deliciousness ;)

Breakfast Date : Silver Spoon in Valparaiso!

Tim & I went on a breakfast date this morning!
We both had the day off, so we were able to sleep in and have a lazy morning.
We decided to go out for a nice breakfast date because, well....we.love.breakfast.
It's our favorite meal of the day.

So we settled into a cozy table at a lovely restaurant called Silver Spoon.
It's such an amazing place with a brick wall, pastel blue paint, wood tables, amazing food, and my favorite coffee.
It's called Julius Mienl. Apparently it's a company based in Vienna. Pretty delicious, smooth stuff!
So we ate our yummy food, drank our delicious coffee, and chatted & laughed the morning away ;)






Such a great way to start our Thursday!
