Style Milk - Arabella Ramsay

tonight is what i like to call a "lazy night".
i had kind of a crazy day, so nights like these are needed sometimes.
and tonight i found myself online browsing/shopping (well, i'll be honest...it was 100% browsing!)
and, let me tell you, i struck gold when i came across these beauties...

i found these beautiful designs from Australian designer Arabella Ramsay (what a beautiful name, by the way!)
from a shop called Style Milk.

Arabella Ramsay's style is described like this:

i LOVE them hemline of these last two.
i need to get my hands on a similar dress for summer.



i just found out that and amazing blogDaydream Lily runs this lovely shop!
how amazing is she?!

oh, and the best part?

some of these looks are on sale!
they're still out of my humble price range.
but for you "big spenders" out there, you should pick one up.
then i can live vicariously through your beautiful clothes.
deal? deal.

Crafter Spotlight - Kelli Murray

while searching around etsy, i discovered this wonderful artist.
i immediately fell in love with the style and color of her artwork.
it's so beautiful!

they'll look so adorable on our fridge.

new things! new things!

i've got some new additions to my site.

ONE.
the menu bar at the top of the page, under the main header.
i've added 'About Me', 'Shop', and 'Craft Shows'.
i want to eventually post craft shows that i'm doing..
but for now it links to Indie Craft Shows.

TWO.
i've decided to add yet ANOTHER link to the menu bar.
it will be what i wore.
i want to start photographing my outfits and documenting them on here.

some mornings i get out of bed early just to have extra time to find the perfect outfit for the day.
so, due to my silly obsession, i've decided to feature my outfits on my blog.

and guess what? today is the first day of 'what i wore'
try to control your excitment ;)

what i wore:


a black & white headband. thrifted.


a navy blue, oversized sweater. also thrifted.


a whole bunch of necklaces. some found, some were gifts, and one is betsy johnson.


it is snowing today. so my main goal for this outfit? comfort & warmth!
(also, please excuse my crazy mess of an apartment with dog toys everywhere!)
and yes. our christmas tree is still proudly standing ;)


oh, and one of my favorite parts of today's outfit?
these amazing boots!
i'm actually borrowing from a friend right now.
she got them from topshop in london last summer.
i kind of adore them.

well, that wraps up today's outfit.

(almost) a million reasons why i love anthropologie.

i just had the urge to post some images of Anthropologie.
i've only been to two stores, once in Chicago and once in Boston.
but both times i loved EVERY second of being in the store.
every detail is thought out. the decorations are creative and gorgeous.

tonight will consist of crafting...surprise, surprise ;)

fashion-minded.

my friend wendy showed me a website called Lookbook.
it's people from all over the world who submit their outfits/fashion statements.
it's pretty amazing to see people from all over the world.

speaking of outfits.
i've been slacking with mine.

yesterday. i wanted to wear feathers & lots of necklaces.







today, i wore my new thrift store dress.
i bought it yesterday.
it kind of reminds me of popcorn, but in a good way.



oh, and we've been finishing up our invites!!
we are printing a custom stamp on each of them.
tim cut the design from a lino block.
a little over 100 envelopes later, and we are DONE.



i can't wait to send them.
we've ordered custom postage stamps, so we have to wait for those to come in.

other things...

i've been looking at flowers lately.
i've decided on peonies, garden roses, billy buttons, and some other pretty ones for my bouquet.

92 days til the big day.
have i mentioned i love wedding planning?
well, i love it.

by the way, i've been trying to work on my stuffed animal line more.
i'm going to make an etsy shop called Two Happy Hearts (go figure, right?).
hopefully once we setting down after the wedding, i'll be able to work on them more.
but i'm trying to sew as much as possible right now!

i'm working on a boy & girl cat couple.
they are cute.
they'll be holding hands soon enough!
