Crafter Spotlight : Oh Melisa!

How adorable are these designs by Oh Melisa?! Goodness gracious, that little lady is talented.
Melisa is a friend of mine from Pittsburgh, and she was kind enough to send some goodies over for my handsome nephew.
Her shop has so many amazing designs for babies, toddlers, and grown-ups too!

Wanted : Etsy Edition

Here are some pretty little things I'm loving on Etsy at the moment.
I've been dreaming of summer adventures by the sea.
Tim and I are planning a big trip to New Zealand in October.
We're planning to be there until February.
So we'll have a full summer in Indiana, followed by a full-on New Zealand summer!
I'm pretty darn excited to say the least.
New Zealand is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

A New Plush Snow Owl Design!

Say hello to the newest member of the Two Happy Hearts Club!
I stitched up this super-soft, cuddly snow owl a couple months ago as a gift for my nephew-to-be.
I absolutely LOVED the way it turned out, and thought it only made sense to make it available on my Two Happy Hearts ETSY.

what i wore - harley davidson & free people.

today has been wonderful.
i worked a bit this morning, but had some time off in the afternoon.
tim is out of town until later tonight.
so my sister and i spent some time together.

here's what i wore.
a harley davidson shirt. i bought it off etsy a few years ago.
a ruffle slip from free people.
and flowers in my hair.

new things! new things!

i've got some new additions to my site.

ONE.
the menu bar at the top of the page, under the main header.
i've added 'About Me', 'Shop', and 'Craft Shows'.
i want to eventually post craft shows that i'm doing..
but for now it links to Indie Craft Shows.

TWO.
i've decided to add yet ANOTHER link to the menu bar.
it will be what i wore.
i want to start photographing my outfits and documenting them on here.

some mornings i get out of bed early just to have extra time to find the perfect outfit for the day.
so, due to my silly obsession, i've decided to feature my outfits on my blog.

and guess what? today is the first day of 'what i wore'
try to control your excitment ;)

what i wore:


a black & white headband. thrifted.


a navy blue, oversized sweater. also thrifted.


a whole bunch of necklaces. some found, some were gifts, and one is betsy johnson.


it is snowing today. so my main goal for this outfit? comfort & warmth!
(also, please excuse my crazy mess of an apartment with dog toys everywhere!)
and yes. our christmas tree is still proudly standing ;)


oh, and one of my favorite parts of today's outfit?
these amazing boots!
i'm actually borrowing from a friend right now.
she got them from topshop in london last summer.
i kind of adore them.

well, that wraps up today's outfit.

i'm pretty stoked to be starting this daily adventure.

bring on 2011!

am i the only one who thinks 2010 just flew by?!
craziness! pure craziness.

but i'm stoked for the new year.
i'm usually not one to get too excited about new years, but i had an awesome night last night.

my sweetie & i got to go out with some of our best friends,
share some drinks & laughs & brought in the new year singing and dancing.
such a fun time!





i hope you all had a glorious new year's eve.

why, hello december.

i can hardly believe it's december 1st!
november just flew by.
but i love everything about december...including the snow.
which, by the way, today is the first day it's snowed since mid-november!
how perfect to celebrate the first day of december, right?!
i loved waking up and seeing snow out my window.
