TINY HOUSE

Brace yourself for a lot of pictures of a cute little home. Tim, Max and I drove out to Lancaster, PA for a little weekend getaway. We were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary and wanted to do something special. We've been tossing around the idea of downsizing, potentially living in a tiny home. We were definitely spoiled with this beautiful space! It was a dream come true, staying here with my two loves. We spent the day exploring the beautiful countryside and small towns, and finished the day with a bonfire. I loved this little getaway. It was just what we all needed. Now here are a ton of photos of this adorable place.

We've got our hearts set on a farm one day, for sure. Max wanted to be outside all the time no matter what the weather. He loves exploring, that's for sure! Now we just need to build a tiny house of our own. Happy Memorial Day weekend, y'all! 

A Weekend of Magic!

Nothing beats a weekend of running away from reality to the most magical place on earth. My mom and I flew down to Florida this last weekend and met up with my sister. We went swimming with dolphins and took TWO trips to Disney!! We all put on our sparkly ears and lived it up like we were kids again. And on Friday night we went to Disney's Halloween Party! We dressed up in 1920s-inspired costumes. It was so so so much fun.

Now it's back to my reality of waking up at 5AM for work & school. Oh goodness....definitely not as fun as galavanting around Disney with sparkly ears on ;)

A Road Trip

We are back from our marvelous North Carolina vacation. Kylie and I got home late last night after a long, but very fun, drive home together. I got some 35mm photos developed and I thought I'd share some of my favorites. These photos were all taken with my new Canon AE-1. It's quickly become my favorite camera I've ever owned. And I've owned quite a few!

We had the best time laying out by the ocean, going out for ice cream, taking walks, jet skiing, wake-boarding (which I failed miserably at! haha), kayaking, and spending time with our wonderful friends from New Jersey.

Kylie and I dropped the boys off at the Norfolk airport and drove on, just the two of us. It's been ages since we've spent quality time on the road together. It was such a fun time just driving and chatting and listening to music and stopping for photos. We stopped in Maryland for the night then drove on through Pennsylvania, Ohio, and finally back home to Indiana.

She is moving to Tampa tomorrow, so it was a bittersweet last trip together. I'm so thankful for it. Now I've got a trip to Tampa to plan! Kylie and I have made it a tradition to spend our birthday together every year. This year, my Mom and I are planning a birthday trip to Tampa in October. I'm pretty thankful that my twin is moving to such a beautiful, fun state.

North Carolina

Today is our last day of vacation in North Carolina. We had a long drive out here to the Outer Banks, but its been so worth it. We've gotten to spend lots time with amazing friends (two of which got engaged last night!!), soak up the sun on the beach, jump in the pool countless times...its been so needed. I can't believe how blessed we are to know so many wonderful people all over the country (and world, actually). I'll never quite understand how I got so lucky. 

We leave bright and early tomorrow morning. Kylie & I have decided to make the drive by ourselves while the boys fly home with our little nephew Seth. We thought it would be a blast to have one last big road trip, just the two of us, before Kylie moves to Florida. It should be quite an adventure.

The Vacation Continues!

We are still having a grand ol' time in Jersey! The days have been hot and sunny, and the nights haven't given us much relief either.
We did have a storm roll in today, so I think that'll cool things down a bit.

Our days have been filled with church services, trips into town, camp food (yuck!),
good times with good friends, and a few beach days!
It's been quite a relaxing trip.

Tonight we're off to eat at a crab shack!
It should be quite a blast.
Gotta eat as much seafood as possible while by the sea, right?!
